[ loki's moved back to his chambers after a long and arduous argument with Eir, and he's asleep, exhausted still. a healer inform jim of where loki's gone with an exasperated roll of her eyes. ]

[ He nods after she informs him where she is and heads to Loki's quarters. Technically, he wasn't allowed in, but the orders were quite strict. ]

[ loki's doors are, as always, shut and warded well. jim does (or should) know, however, that loki's never kept him out.

[ There's no reason I should be couched today. He places his sword against the wall and finds himself a chair. He can't afford to sleep, but he can at least be comfortable as he keeps watch. ]

[ loki wakes not long after jim settled and he stiffens for a moment before he recognizes the seated form and pushes himself up on an elbow to peer across the dark room. ]

James. Why are you over there?

[ he's clearly displeased, petulant. ]

[ He chuckles lightly at Loki's pout ] Maybe tomorrow night.
